This is an archive of events that happened in a private flat.
It was great when this small, narrow square was full of bouncing sounds.
The sofa was shared and turned into a Konsofa!
Becouse a sofa might be a very mighty stage.
great concerts were exchanged for great videos and audio recordings with the hope simply to support eachother.
Paula i Karol are a two piece band from Warsaw. Playing together since spring 2009, they’re
mostly known for their acoustic gigs in parks, friends apartments and outside of clubs. They

The Danish / Polish act Squares to Bend was formed in 2009. The duo consists of
multi-instrumentalist and producer Piotr Fronek (age 23) and vocalist / poet Mikkel
Konyher (age 20). The
two members met each other at a Contemporary Music College
in Denmark where Piotr asked Mikkel to lay down vocals on one of his tracks.
After a few hours in the studio their first track titled “Moms Juice” was finished
and the seeds of “Squares to Bend” were planted. From this point everything happened
fast. 4 out of 12 tracks were finished after only one month.

* SING FOR YOUR SUPPER *
I´m traveling across seven European countries in five weeks, singing songs and telling the stories
of the people and places I encounter.
For thousands of years, travelling musicians sang for their supper; gathering stories of the places
they went. This summer, I'm living as a modern troubadour, singing for my supper, exchanging my
songs for the hospitality and tales of strangers.
That is what artist Rae Evens is writing on her blog "Sing for your supper" where she is documenting
her travels, her little adventures, the people she is meeting and the stories she is telling and listening to.
One of her stations was our Konsofa and after a fine fish dinner and some drinks the concert started
and turned out as a very special Konsofa-evening.
